MediHub.org is an online information and communications service (the "Service") provided by MediHub and from other sources. Use of the Service is governed by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using the Service. Throughout this Agreement, MediHub is referred to as "we" or "us."

General terms and conditions

You agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement as posted on the Service at the time of your access or use. We may modify this Agreement at any time. Any modifications made to this Agreement will be effective immediately upon posting on the site. You agree to review the Agreement posted on the Service each time you use the Service so that you are aware of any modifications made to this Agreement. WE ARE NOT LIABLE TO ANYONE FOR ANY DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN BY BASED ON RELIANCE UPON THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON OR PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

Users' agreement

By registering to use this site, users will create a personal profile account. Users agree to maintain the security of all user identification, password and other confidential information Users will not upload or transmit any communications or content of any type that infringes or violates any rights of any party. Users will not use this site for any purpose in violation of national or international laws. Users will not use this site as a means to distribute advertising or other unsolicited material to any third party. Users will not post material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful or embarrassing to any other person or entity as determined by us in our sole discretion. Users will not impersonate another person or create any false account information or health record for themselves or others. Users will not hold us, liable for damages including (but not limited to) loss of wages, revenue or business because of any services related to or provided by this site. The only remedy for dissatisfaction with the services of this site will be to stop using the Service. Users will indemnify us against any damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs or expenses arising out of a claim by a third party relating to use of the Service, or any breach or violation of this Agreement or any other term or condition contained on the Service. Users must warrant that they are at least 18 years of age and agree to the terms specified in this site to use the services.

Termination of services

Your use of this site will be terminated if we have found that you violated these Terms and Conditions of Use. This may be at the discretion of MediHub and we will not be found liable for any damages that may arise out of this termination.

Advertising and sponsorship policy

As a social enterprise, we accept advertising and sponsorship from individuals, companies or organizationsunder strict guidelines. We will refuse any advertisement or sponsorship that we believe may compromise our mission to provide reliable and trustworthy medical and health information. The presence of an ad on our site or or any other collaterals, does not imply endorsement of the advertised company or product. Advertisers and sponsors must not make unsubstantiated health claims or suggest that MediHub has endorsed a product. Advertising is not targeted to individual users but may be placed on the site adjacent to content related to advertiser or sponsor interest.

MediHub maintains a strict distinction between advertising and editorial content. All advertising content on MediHub.org or any other collaterals will be clearly labeled as an advertisement. Sponsored areas of the site are labeled as such, and the sponsoring organizations or individuals will be identified .

Collection of personal information

We may collect personal information that you choose to share with us in the registration and health tools sections of our site. This information may include your e-mail address, your health interests, and answers to questions or surveys about your health. We intend to use this information to tailor our services to your needs. This information is collected only with your permission and may be updated or deleted by you at any time. If you choose to not provide the information required for registration, you may not register with the website.

Our Tools and Databases

We include clinical tools and databases intended for the use of healthcare professionals on our Web Site. Our tools don't give professional advice or recommend particular products. Physicians and other healthcare professionals who use our tools or databases should exercise their own clinical judgment as to the results. Consumers who use the tools or databases do so at their own risk.

Individuals with any type of medical condition are specifically cautioned to seek professional medical advice before beginning any sort of health treatment. For medical concerns, including decisions about medications and other treatments, users should always consult their physician or other qualified healthcare professional.

Governing Law Clause

In the event of any disputes made against MediHub and/or our partners and professionals in the context of the services offered by MediHub, all disputes will be governed by Singapore law.
